CPR
COURSES 2008
New Course Guidelines and Formats are
now in effect which have changed the way we deliver life support in Canada.
Overall, the objective of the changes is to
improve the effectiveness of CPR. The Courses are now focused on the
delivery of skills and participants will perform the skills throughout the
course, while following along with a DVD. There is an increased emphasis
on Compressions as research has shown fewer interruptions to compressions
results in increased perfusion (blood flow).
